Haunted kicks off 2021 with one big fish from the industrial techno pond, US-based producer Nekrokick. Hypnotic and vigorous, this EP is laced with anxiety and unease, summoned by long forbidding breakdowns in the opener “Nightclub Petting Zoo”; yet also to be found are segments to thoroughly get you going, like the sub-rave motif in „My Soul is wet“, the sheer intensity of the kick that drives „Black Pegs“ or the load of industrial debris in „Motor Oil Bath“.
